Brighton has been cracking us up even more than usual lately. It's amazing how much she picks up on when we think she isn't listening and then she starts talking about something like a week later and we are like "what!!??" Our funny little sponge. Just soaking up the world. The other morning I discovered that she knows our first names. When she woke up, I went to her room and she said, "Hi Momma Ashwee, where's Don?" Then the other night at dinner she asked me if I wanted a drink of my water. I said "sure" and she lifted her glass, clinked it with mine and said "cheers!" Yeah, no idea where she got that from. I am trying to think if they do that in one of the Disney cartoons or something. It's so fun to see how fast she learns and to realize how much she already knows.

Here's Bri on the train at the zoo. She wanted to ride it so bad so we caved. It ended up being 45 min long and all we saw were trees. No animals. Woo-hoo. She still had fun just being on the train though.

Super cute tickle torture! Love the picture of the bear... please tell me you took that, it's awesome! Love the workings of little brains.. such cute little comments. Be sure and write down the classics, it's amazing how quick you forget them! Glad school is going well. I wouldn't do middle school again for a large sum of money!!! I'm sure your perfect for those kids. Your job just fits you.
A few months ago I cracked up when I heard Cooper yell for dad and said, "Hey Quinc". He's really went through a phase where he likes to call him Quinc and me Debbie. Chase does it too. It's so funny. Cooper has been praying every night to go to disneyland...when can we go again?!

I work part time as a middle school counselor. :)
That's because people who work with middle schooler HAVE to be crazy...otherwise they wouldn't be able to deal. There was never a dull moment in all my five years, and now I blame my ultra short attention span on those kids. :) You're so levelheaded and have a great sense of humor --you're perfect to work with them.
That bear picture is awesome.
Those zoo train rides are perfect for seeing the backs of building and great indigenous foilage. As long as Brighton liked it, right?

Very cool. They truly are little sponges. So it's really weird for me to read about a little girl named Bri:-). It's a first for me. Her full name is way cooler than my full name though.
Your daughter is adorable. I can't believe that you are a middle school counselor- how fun...I bet you are never bored! and what a perfect job for you, I bet the kids love you!
